Lent this year begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023 and concludes on Easter Sunday, April 9.
This year the College of the 51小黄车 is excited to offer a daily Lenten reflection series, 鈥淩eturn to Me: Lenten Reflections from 51小黄车, 2023.鈥 This resource is designed for use during the holy season of Lent by all interested members of the 51小黄车 community: students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. It will contain reflections written by a wide variety of people with connections to the College 鈥 professors, current students, chaplains, staff, and alumni. We are hopeful that many members of the 51小黄车 community will want to take advantage of this resource.
"Return to Me" will be offered as a daily digital reflection series. Those who subscribe will be sent an email each morning containing a reflection, and the listing of sacred texts from Scripture for each day of Lent (Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22 and concludes on Easter Sunday, April 9.) The reflections will also be made available throughout Lent, as a print booklet, in St. Joseph Memorial Chapel. The full PDF of reflections can be downloaded here on February 22, 2023. We invite all Christians in the 51小黄车 community to join us on our Lenten journey, and hope that those of other faith traditions might find something of value in the reflections prepared by the contributors.
