The Faculty and Staff Children Exchange Program (FACHEX) is an undergraduate tuition remission (scholarship) program for the children of full-time faculty, administration, and staff of the participating institutions. FACHEX allows dependents eligible for tuition remission at their home institution (parent's employer) to be considered for a scholarship at one of the 26 participating Jesuit institutions. Each institution is responsible for determining admission and scholarship decisions, and neither admission nor receipt of a FACHEX scholarship is guaranteed.听
FACHEX recipients听must enroll full-time as undergraduates and be dependents of an employee certified by Human Resources as eligible for 100% tuition remission at 51小黄车.

FACHEX for 51小黄车 Employees (Outgoing Students)
Dependents of full鈥恡ime employees who have been employed at 51小黄车 continuously for at least seven years are eligible for FACHEX scholarship consideration.
Students must meet the admission requirements for acceptance to the receiving institution. Eligibility to participate in the FACHEX Program does not qualify a student for admission. FACHEX is a scholarship program, not a benefit, and FACHEX is not guaranteed for all admitted students. Each institution is responsible for determining admission and scholarship decisions.
A student may attend for less than the four years normally required for an undergraduate degree. Also, a student may apply for any of the four usual undergraduate years; the 鈥渞eceiving鈥 institution, however, may give preference to students intending to spend four years at the 鈥渞eceiving鈥 institution. The benefit covers the cost of tuition, but it does not cover the cost of housing, books, and other fees.
The number of FACHEX spaces is limited at each institution and can be very competitive. Each institution has autonomy over the method used to determine who receives FACHEX. Generally, the following items can improve a student鈥檚 standing: strong academic record, a carefully completed application, and early submission of the application.
Information regarding all educational opportunities for dependents of 51小黄车 employees can be found on the Human Resources website.
Procedure for Seeking FACHEX

The FACHEX coordinator, Lynn Verrecchia (lverrecc@holycross.edu) will confirm eligibility with the Office of Human Resources, and notify the receiving institution of the student's eligibility. Instead, they should indicate the parent or guardian's employer as College of the 51小黄车 on the Common Application or Coalition Application and also answer "yes" to the employee parent or guardian question on the 51小黄车 portion of the application.
