Banking Choices
For your student banking needs, there is a automatic teller machine (ATM) located in the Hogan Campus Center (see location on campus map). However, we do not endorse any specific bank.
To decide what bank is best for you, consider the following:
- Fees: Look for low or no monthly maintenance, ATM, and overdraft fees. Some banks charge a fee for not keeping a minimum balance.
- Minimum balance: Student-friendly accounts often have lower or no minimum balance requirements.
- ATM access: Look for the availability of fee-free ATMs on or near campus.
- Online and mobile banking: Consider whether online bill pay is included and the user-friendliness of the mobile banking app.
- Savings accounts: Look for a bank with a checking and savings account option.
- Federally insured: Consider whether the bank is federally insured.
- Payment transfer options: Review payment transfer options.
- Budgeting and financial management tools: Consider if the bank offers budgeting and financial management tools.
- Monitor your accounts: Open and review your statements, keep track of your balance regularly, and avoid overdraft fees.
