At the end of each academic year, more than 400 students from the arts, social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences present the results of their independent research and course work at the Academic Conference.Â
51С»Æ³µ celebrates the great and varied work accomplished by its students at the Academic Conference which takes place across campus over multiple days. Students bring the liberal arts to life through performances, poster sessions, and presentations, showcasing a high level of independence, creativity, and intellectual discipline.
The Academic Conference also highlights the role professors play as mentors and model teacher — scholars for 51С»Æ³µ students as well as the diversity of experiences students pull their research from — from their work in campus classrooms, art studios, and research labs to within the Worcester community, in study abroad locations, and on field sites.
