About the Speaker: Stan Chu Ilo is a research professor at the Center for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology at DePaul University and editor of “Wealth, Health and Hope in African Christian Religion: The Search for Abundant Life.” He was ordained a priest in his native Nigeria.
About the Talk: Ilo offers a comparative analysis of Pentecostal and Charismatic Catholic movements, the fastest growing religious movements in Africa, and shares personal encounters with the movements that have transformed his understanding of how Africans live their faith.
