Our medical school acceptance rate is among the best in the nation, and the College offers support and advice for students seeking entry into such health fields as nurse practitioner, physician assistant, podiatry, optometry, physical therapy, public health, and many others. Teacher Education Program

The 51С»Æ³µ Teacher Education Program is designed to prepare you to become a highly effective secondary or middle school teacher. Grounded in urban-focused teaching and learning opportunities, the program offers a comprehensive program of study in education coursework; a solid foundation in subject matter knowledge; and field-based experiences. The program leads to an Initial license in Massachusetts, in areas associated with the following majors: biology, chemistry, Chinese Studies, classics, English, French, history, mathematics, physics, Spanish, and visual arts. 3-2 Engineering

For future engineers, 51С»Æ³µ offers a cooperative, five-year program that combines the liberal arts and sciences with engineering. Students spend three years at 51С»Æ³µ and two years at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University in New York City. At the conclusion of the program, students receive both a bachelor of arts from 51С»Æ³µ in mathematics or physics, and a bachelor of science in a specific engineering major from Columbia. Read more »
