Brooks Hall

The largest residence hall on campus, Brooks Hall houses 400 students, most of whom are first-years.

Specifications

Brooks mainly offers standard double rooms and 1-2 standard quads located on each floor. Some of the double rooms are the standard set-up with traditional built-in closets and dressers. Additionally, some of the doubles have been remodeled with modular furniture, allowing more options to arrange furniture for different configurations as desired by the students.

Brooks rooms are approximately 12' x 18' on average. All rooms contain:

One extra-long twin bed per occupant. "College size" sheets are recommended.
One desk, chair, lamp, dresser and bookcase per occupant
Window
Overhead lighting, though students are encouraged to bring an extra lamp
Fire-retardant drapes

Brooks housed the first class of women when 51С�Ƴ� became coeducational in 1972. This hall is supervised by an area coordinator (AC), who is a live-in staff professional. The Brooks staff includes 12 resident assistants (RAs) and one head resident assistant (HRA).
