What is the deadline for international students interested in applying to the College of the 51С»Æ³µ?
Binding "Early Decision I": November 15. "Early Decision II": January 15. Non-binding "Regular Decision": January 15. 51С»Æ³µ does not offer any non-binding "Early Action" opportunities.
When will I learn of my application decision?
Early Decision notifications happen continually throughout the months of December and January. Some decisions may take longer due to delays in receipt of credentials from the applicant. All decisions related to Regular Decision applications are mailed in late March or early April.
What is different about the application requirements for international students?
In addition to the required credentials all candidates must submit, international students who are non-native English speakers must also send a set of either TOEFL exam or IELTS exam scores. All international candidates must also send the International Student Certification of Finances Form and a Bank Letter or Financial Affidavit detailing their source(s) of financial support. As an international student interested in 51С»Æ³µ, what do I need to know about obtaining visas and financial declarations?
A student visa (typically an F-1 student visa) is required to study in the United States. An F-1 visa can be obtained by contacting the United States Embassy or Consulate in your own country along with presentation of a valid I-20, a passport and evidence of financial support. Candidates will receive their I-20 documents needed for the Visa application only following admission to the college.

Is there an Orientation program for incoming students?
Yes, all incoming students have the opportunity to participate in a 2-day summer orientation program in June called "Gateways". A fall "Gateways" is also held in late August before classes begin. For more information, visit the Orientations & Information for Incoming Students page.
